Agriculture employees were yesterday found working on the farm of permanent secretary to the President (PSP), Eric Molale, sparking questions of abuse of power.

Mmegi visited Molale's farm yesterday and found Ministry of Agriculture employees in the process of erecting shed netting for a nursery. The employees, who identified themselves as Ministry of Agriculture field assistants and workshop attendants, confirmed that they were the ones who erected the poles for the nursery. The work also entailed mixing mortar. "We were erecting gum poles. We were supposed to do that yesterday but there was no cement," said one of the attendants. They said that the previous day, there were four other people from another government deparment, who came with their supervisors to help put up the shade.

"We were only told that we would be erecting a shade at Molale's place and we only had to do what we were told.
