Prosecutor Fails To Charge Zim Transporter

HARARE: The Zimbabwean transporter arrested on suspicion of hiring hitmen to kill a business rival in the Gaborone-Francistown route will appear in court again on February 15.

Ray Dokotela-Moyo of Dokotela Omnibus Company appeared in a Bulawayo court for the second time on Wednesday last week but was not charged. Dokotela-Moyo is suspected of hiring hitmen to kill Sibonginkosi Moyo, an inspector at the rival Fellowship Bus Company. He accuses Sibonginkosi Moyo of frustrating his business in Botswana.

Dokotela-Moyo is out on bail. He has apparently dumped lawyer Mweliwenkosi Ncube for Sindiso Mazibisa. Ncube told the court that Mazibisa needed time to prepare for the case.
