Prosecution Wants Accused�s Blood Samples

Extension II Magistrate Ntombizodwa Ncube has granted the prosecution an order to take four of the six accused men in the Zoom Nightclub robbery and murder case for extraction of blood samples.

Keolopile Moshotle, Oabile Dibobo, Tshepo Ntusa and Tshiamo Morolong are accused of robbing and murdering Jacob Bogatsu whilst fellow accused Batshani Montsho and Mphoyaone Sedio are alleged to have been involved in the robbery offences that happened on October 30, 2016 near the Caltex filling station and the Zoom Nightclub in Gaborone.

State prosecutor, Inspector Motlalepula Selelo told the Court that since all the accused are out on bail, the Investigating Officer has requested to take them for blood extraction. She said the blood samples will be subjected to a DNA exercise to see if it matches the samples collected at the scene.
