Thamaga police are investigating a case in which a Ramotswa businessman, Gobuamang Tlhomole claims to have been swindled of P79 000 by a prophet who promised him miracles and prosperity for his business, only to see it crumbling.

“A man from Ramotswa has reported to have been victimised by a Thamaga woman who is a prophet. The man said he deposited cash amounting to P79 000 on monthly installments to the woman who had promised him that he would pray for him and his businesses to succeed.   He only realised that he has been swindled after his businesses went down under instead of experiencing wonders that the prophet had promised.” Mookodi said.
