Preliminary skirmishes contiue in Nchindo case

The preliminary battle in the Nchindo graft case is far from over after it emerged that the defence is appealing a High Court ruling that it should not be provided with further particularities.

The decision was delivered by  Justice Maruping Dibotelo last month after an application for further particularities by the defendands, former Debswana managing director Louis Nchindo, his son Garvas, two former Debswana employees, Joseph Matome and Jacob Sesinyi.

Dibotelo ordered that the criminal matter at the Village Magistrate Court should proceed and the Regional Magistrate Lot Moroka set trial dates and take pleas from the accused.
