SELEBI-PHIKWE: He may be politically wet behind the ears, but Molefi Pilane is alleged to have embarked on a political campaign targeted at wrestling Sesame South ward from Godfrey Mbaiwa, during the Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) primary elections.

In an interview with Mmegi this week, Pilane said some people approached him and asked if he was interested in becoming their councilor. He said that at the moment he cannot state if he will challenge Mbaiwa or not for fear of being vetted out.
