Political meddling in Old Naledi relocation?

Lawyers Dick Bayford and Tebogo Sebego, as well as Gaborone deputy Mayor and Naledi South councillor, Ezekiel Dube have denied reports of a political motive in their latest attempt to push the city council and the Ministry of Lands and Housing to re-value Old Naledi plots, which should be allocated to Block 7 by the end of August.

Sources say most residents marked for relocation at Old Naledi are reluctant to sign for the compensation money.  There are reports of political meddling in the relocation programme.

The layers and Dube have been accused of encouraging residents not to sign up and accept the compensation proposed by the city council.
"This issue must not be unduly politicised because we are dealing with a real life issue that affects a lot of people," replied Bayford.
