Police shy away from death-threat case

Lesego Bile is accusing police in Mogoditshane of shying away from investigating death threats allegedly made by Wame Masire, who claims to be the daughter of the Botswana Defence Force (BDF) Commander, Tebogo Masire, on Facebook.

The woman threatened the 28-year-old Bile that she would send her father's boys to put her in "her sorry **s place". ame further boasted about her flying career which she claimed earns her P45,000 a month.

Bile related that when she reported the matter to the Mogoditshane Police Station, an officer by the name of Obuseng told her to leave the BDF commander alone. The officer said that this was not right, especially that they have just come out of the Kalafatis issue. I did not know what this meant.
