Tlokweng police have launched an investigation into an attack on a bar owner robbed of P40,000 on Sunday early morning in Lenganeng ward.

Tlokweng Police station commander, superintendent Unoziba Rari said the victim was attacked and robbed by four suspects while arriving at his Tlokweng yard at around 3am after closing up for the night in Mmopane. Rari stated that though the victim was threatened with a sharp object, the suspects did not assault or stab him.

“The four unknown men allegedly escaped the scene in a white Toyota Wish and investigations are ongoing to locate and arrest the suspects. We have not yet established if the suspects had followed the victim from his business in Mmopane or if they were all along waiting for him at his yard in Tlokweng where they pounced on him on arrival.
