Police probe assault and murder case

SELEBI-PHIKWE: The Selebi-Phikwe Police are investigating a case in which a middle-aged man was attacked at Makhubu Club over the weekend.

Officer Commanding District Number 10, Senior Superintendent Takongwa Mazwiduma told Mmegi in an interview that the victim was attacked with a sharp object.

He said the police who were on patrol found him bleeding and took him to the Selebi-Phikwe Government Hospital where he was later transferred to Princess Marina Hospital in Gaborone. He explained that the victim died three days after the attack.
