Police Officers involved in road accident

PALAPYE: An officer at Palapye Police Station was rushed to Princess Marina Referral Hospital where he was later admitted after sustaining serious injuries following a road accident yesterday.

The car was involved in a head-on collision with a private one on the A1 road before the driver lost control. The car later over-turned.

The accident happened in front of the new Riverview Mall Monday evening. Two passengers of the private car escaped the accident without injuries.
