The High Court is being called upon to decide on the admissibility of some of the contents in the summary of evidence filed by the state.

Yesterday, Broadhurst Magistrate Hauwa Nuru ruled that there is evidence that some material might be prejudicial to the six accused officers if left in its current state. The accused, Rantao Mmeleki, Tebogo Khutsafalo, Kabo Ramohibidu, Michael Ramhitshwana, Dithuso Dintwe and Patrick Gobotswang, all police officers, appeared before Magistrate Nuru, who then referred their matter to the High Court for a decision on whether the summary of evidence has been drafted in a non-prejudicial manner.
