Plane crash probe will take time

FRANCISTOWN: Poor visibility may have led to the crashing of a South African craft that killed two pilots last week.

Rob Tasker,75, and Lindy Brooks, 56, were attempting to land the Bat-Air Cargo Embraer Banderaite at the Francistown Airport in the foggy morning of June 29 when it crashed seven kilometres from the runway.

Reports indicate that the aircraft missed the runway the first time around and the pilot communicated with the tower that they would make a second attempt at landing but they never made it.
