Pioneering health training college releases first graduates

Stella Thapelo who obtained a certificate in health care assistance said that the qualification is going to improve her professional standing as she has acquired new knowledge. She is a counsellor at Dukwi clinic. She was very excited because she has acquired extra expertise that will help her serve patients better.
"I believe my fellow graduates and I are going to help develop the health care system in Botswana in as far as health education and other critical areas are concerned," she said.
Despite legislative reforms and various initiatives aimed at curbing Gender-Based Violence (GBV), the situation remains dire.
