SELEBI-PHIKWE: Local businesspeople who attended an interactive session with members of the parliamentary committee on foreign affairs, trade and security believe that if it is difficult for the government to invest in Selebi-Phikwe, it would not be easy for investors to set up in the town.

They indicated that government seems reluctant to commit resources to the town when it should take the lead in demonstrating the viability of investment opportunities in the town.

It is most pathetic that all the NDP 10 projects that were earmarked for the town have all been deferred, the parliamentarians observed.
