St Joseph's College staff, students, alumni and well wishers staged a fund raising dinner dance at the Gaborone International Convention Centre Friday night in efforts to raise funds for the school's 80th anniversary celebrations on October 4.

The fund raising committee plans to raise at least half a million pula for the celebrations that they expect to attract at least 6,000 guests.

The school has been staging celebrations to mark the end of every decade of the school's existence but the 80th anniversary celebrations seem to have gathered quite some momentum.
