Patimile screams: 'i'm Motswana' as he is sent back to ZIM

FRANCISTOWN: A two-day operation to flush out illegal immigrants must have sent the wrong man to Zimbabwe, that is, if his feeble protestations that he is a citizen of Botswana is anything to go by.

In front of the officer taking down his particulars, an incoherent Patimile Mpapho, who said he was 26-years-old, protested that he was from Thini Ward in Tutume.

But he ended up being bundled into the waiting truck to be repatriated to Zimbabwe. His undoing was being unable to say exactly where he comes from or who his parents are. However, when asked by this writer on the side, he said he did his primary education at Thini Primary School.
