The chairman of the committee, Mabunga Gadibolae, told Mmegi that the purpose of the event was to motivate workers. "The event is meant to expose employees of Parliament to wellness information and activities," Gadibolae said.Different stakeholders were invited to share and educate on different health matters. Gadibolae said he hoped the workshop had increased the number of people who knew their HIV status and related diseases, as well as the need for behavioural change and positive living. He explained that most deaths from silent killer diseases were fitness-related, hence it was necessary to educate their employees in health and fitness in the workplace.Meanwhile, Botswana Life intends to launch a campaign to promote its products, especially the Hospital Cash Plan and Family Commuter, a representative of the company told Mmegi on the sidelines of the workshop.
