Paedophile Jailed For 10 Years

FRANCISTOWN: He stood transfixed in the dock with an expression that says, "I did not do it" as the magistrate gave him a 10-year jail term for raping a minor.

A visibly peeved principal magistrate, Fortune Mukoma, said there was no place in the society for people like the haggard-looking, Molatodi Nfana, of Sekukwe Settlement near Matsiloje who will be celebrating his June 6 birthday in the company of fellow offenders in prison.

"You... fall in the category of offenders who deserve to be removed from society for a very long time," said Mukoma, who earlier noted that Nfana (31) had sexually violated a minor who shall forever be emotionally and psychologically scarred.
