Outstanding Motswana woman shines as emerging leader

FRANCISTOWN: A 20-year-old Motswana woman, Amanda Nthati Chembezi has been selected as one of the most outstanding emerging women leaders in Africa and The Middle East.

She has been selected along with 27 other young women from all over Africa and given a chance to hone their leadership skills. She has been awarded a one-year scholarship programme to advance her leadership skills in Ghana.

Chembezi was chosen after a highly competitive selection process and criteria, for her outstanding leadership promise, community service accomplishments and commitment to the advancement of women in Africa. The process started with 1,240 hopefuls from 41 countries and eventually through a process of interviews it was narrowed down to the 28.
