Outcry At Granting Of Bail To Decapitation Murder Suspect

Badisa Kgowe appeared in court last Friday

A large and vocal crowd filled Extension II Magistrates Court’s courtroom to its rafters on Friday, calling for decapitation murder suspect not to be released on bail before the head is recovered.

The suspect in the case, Simon Badisa Kgowe 38, allegedly murdered Elizabeth Bonolo Kerekang, by cutting her head off at Block 3 location in Gaborone on July 30, 2018, and dumped her headless body at Maratanang ward in Tlokweng.

As they continue to hit dead ends in search of Kerekang’s decapitated head, the police handed her headless body to the family, and her body was laid to rest in Gaborone more that a month ago.
