Oriel To Contest Exams Disqualification

Botswana Examinations Council (BEC) has disqualified all the students who sat for the Botswana General Certificate of Secondary Education at Oriel International School.

This comes after BEC withheld the students' results following reported incidents of alleged dishonesty in mathematics, science double award and accounting while BEC could not rule out the possibility that other subjects could have been affected as well.

As a result, BEC made enquiries from the invigilators. The school management was also required to call the students who sat for the examinations for BEC to carry out further investigations.
