Speaking at a panel discussion organised by the Botswana Editors Forum, the BAM leader revealed that despite the fact that the failure of the first attempt to bring opposition parties to work together, they intend to try again. "We are currently working to bring back the second phase of the opposition unity talks to the table," he said. Setshwaelo revealed that they are hopeful that the second phase would bear positive results.

We are hopeful to bring at least all the parties on board," he said at the discussion whose theme was: 'The collapse of the opposition unity talks and its complications on Botswana Democracy'.
