The former Botswana National Front MP for Gaborone North, Michael Mzwinila said that the formation of the Botswana Movement for Democracy is a vindication of opposition policies which BMD is espousing.  Describing the BDP as a cruel government, he revealed that the government refused to compensate him after the BDF plane he was piloting crashed and maimed him in the process only because he is a member of an opposition party.
