One-Year Remand For Rape Suspect

Pride Rushike cancelled the bail of Kelebemang Silega after an application by the prosecutor Serehete Emmanuel. Silega is facing one count of rape. Emmanuel submitted that the suspect has not honoured court mentions since February this year. "He absconded from court and as such has violated his bail conditions," said Emmanuel. 

Silega was granted bail in September 2008 but according to the prosecutor has not shown his face in court since early this year.
