One dead in Palapye–Serowe road mishap

A 38-year-old man hs died after he lost control of the Toyota Corolla he was driving, resulting in the car overturning near Kakamane lands early Saturday morning along the A14 Road (Palapye–Serowe road).

According to Senior Superintendent Paul Oketsang, the No.2 District Officer Commanding, the accident happened at approximately 1:30am, with the vehicle travelling from Serowe towards Palapye.

“We suspect that the driver might have been fatigued, lost control of the car, and overturned. He was ejected from the car, thrown on the road, and sustained serious head injuries. He was rushed to Sekgoma Memorial Hospital where he was certified dead by doctors on arrival,” he said. Remarkably, the vehicle had three passengers, all males aged 27, 33, and 34, who escaped with minor injuries.
