One Baroda suspect to plead guilty

One of the suspects in the 2003 Bank of Baroda armed robbery has indicated that he wants to plead guilty. Lawyer Duma Boko revealed before court yesterday.

Although Boko did not say who the name of the suspect, it is understood that Michael Mzwinila (not former MP) intends to enter a plea of guilt. Boko said that the defence was in talks with the prosecution to assess the issues regarding the development.

Boko apologised before Chief Magistrate Lot Moroka for not appearing for the case last week. He lamented that he was not to blame for the delay in the case.
