Ombudsman urged to come to the people

FRANCISTOWN: The Ombudsman held a breakfast seminar in Francistown yesterday to promote collaboration with NGOs.

Participants advised the Ombudsdan to sensitise the people about the services of the office. They said the people do not know the Ombudsman or his duties. Some said the location of the Ombudsman's office is not suitable for people to access. One of  the participants Carlos Jimmy said that the Ombudsman needs to take the office to the people.

"Take the office to the people because right now I work with the youth and they think that your office has nothing to do with them because it is associated with things that cannot benefit them," he said.
