Old Naledi Set For P100m Upgrading

Old Naledi, Gaborone's oldest township, is to get a major facelift when the Gaborone City Council (GCC) embarks on a P100 million infrastructural development project in the area.

GCC principal housing officer Dizzy Mpoloka said the aim of the project is to upgrade the environment and living standards of the community by providing basic social and infrastructural services.

He explained that it was council's objective to bring Old Naledi facilities on par with those found in recently developed areas in the city.
