FRANCISTOWN: Vice-President Mompati Merafhe has urged Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) Members of Parliament (MPs) and councillors to offer voters quality service and sound policies that contribute towards sustained economic growth and democracy.

Merafhe was speaking at the BDP fund-raising dinner held at Adonsonia Hotel after their star rally on Saturday, which took place at the popular Chedu Choga grounds. He said open democracies such as Botswana face numerous challenges, which find substance and sanctuary in the BDP.

He therefore urged party leaders to make sure they offer quality service to the voters so as not to lose their trust.
