Of urine and Gaborone City Council...

Most people would agree that the Gaborone City Council (GCC) could increase its revenue sources by constructing fee-paying toilet facilities particularly in the Main Mall where shoppers and tourists do not have anywhere to go to answer the call of nature.

Presently shoppers and vendors in the mail literally have to sneak into nearby facilities provided by the President Hotel and restaurants like Kentucky Fried Chicken, and Hungry Lion to relieve themselves.

It is quite probable that various district councils would replicate a successful 'GCC toilet' enterprise and in the long run help the country combat the shameful habit by the careless urinating anywhere in public. This is important in the sense that with good facilities men, in particular will, be able to monitor changes in the colour and smell of their urine, which most tend to give only a passing glance as it swirls out of sight down the toilet bowl. But researches have sounded the alarm that changes in the urine - its colour, odour, and consistency - can provide important clues about the status of your body. Your urine can reveal what you've been eating, how much you've been drinking, and what diseases you have.
