Objectors withdraw voter trafficking cases

Two Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) members have withdrawn their cases of objection against the 30 potential voters in the Ramotswa roll.

The BDP council candidate Phillip Mokgalagadi and activist Rosinah Tlhage had recently applied to court that the 30 be struck off the roll for allegedly having illegally registered at Goo-Ntswa ward in Ramotswa constituency.

An attorney for the respondent Anthony Ahulu of Dingake Law Partners told the court that the issue of cost would be discussed and heard on July 26.
