Though he is a political representative vying for his country's highest political office, one may be befuddled by this excitement, which has permeated the global village.

Perhaps the answer to this question is astutely captured in Mmoloki Mmolotsi's words when he says, "what is exciting about Obama and his campaign is that he appeals and speaks to ordinary people like me and you. He talks not only to America, but the whole world. He represents change, that colour, age, experience and all that which has always stood in the way of change can be conquered to realise set goals.
