Obama power in US presidential election

The American presidential elections have never generated so much interest especially in Africa. The elections have received much attention because Obama is an African son of the soil. His late father Barack Obama Senior was a Kenyan.

That is part of the reason why his contest with McCain is attracting so much attention worldwide. Obama is not the first black man to try his luck at winning the American presidency. This is why the American elections have generated so much interest on the continent.
