Ntuane wants to meet Michelle Obama

Leader of opposition Botsalo Ntuane has written a letter to Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Phandu Skelemani requesting for a courtesy call by United States of America First Lady Michelle Obama, who lands in Gaborone tomorrow morning.

In a letter written yesterday Ntuane says that such interaction between him, as Leader of Opposition, and Obama, would enhance Botswana's democracy.

"It is  my  considered opinion that  such  interaction between  First Lady Obama  and   the Leader of Opposition could enhance  Botswana's  democratic credentials where individuals occupying my office can also engage with  visiting  political, and other  dignitaries.
