Nshakazhogwe residents fume over Sebina North name

NSHAKAZHOGWE: Residents of Nshakazhogwe are furious at being called Sebina North ward and want the name changed forthwith.

Even Tonota North Member of Parliament (MP) Fidelis Molao has joined the chorus, demanding a name change.Molao said that he hoped that officials tasked with delimiting ward boundaries would take the people's aspirations into consideration, especially Nshakazhogwe residents who are discontented at being called Sebina North ward.

Village Kgosi Mudongo Kgetsi, who has been at the helm since 2002, said they were worried because, if unchanged, the Sebina North designation is going to kill the name of their village, which has 2,500 residents and nine Kgotla wards.
