Norwegian heir hails Botswana's MDG progress

The Goodwill Ambassador of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), Crown Prince Haakon of Norway, says Botswana has many success stories, especially with regard to the United Nations Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) which are a reflection of the country's charter, Vision 2016.

"Vision 2016 actually goes beyond the MDGs," Prince Haakon said. 

The heir to the Norwegian throne, who is on an official visit to Botswana, says with its democratic leadership, Botswana serves as an example in the region and further abroad.
