No Crisis Here - Molotsi

The challenger for the Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) deputy secretary general position, Wynter Molotsi has shot down reasons advanced by the rival faction to postpone this year's Central Committee elections.

Molotsi, also parliamentary candidate for Francistown South, told the Monitor that he fails to understand why the holding of the elections is considered a crisis.

"It has never been a problem. Someone still has to explain to me why all of a sudden this thing is a crisis. In the first place all the people in the Central Committee today are MPs, they have been successfully winning their constituencies while continuing with their party responsibilities, and really I do not understand."
