Nkate honours out-going BIUST Council

The Minister of Education says honouring the outgoing council of the Botswana International University of Science and Technology (BIUST) allows all stakeholders of the university to look back and reflect on the challenges and notable successes recorded to-date.

Speaking at the Maharaj Conference Centre, Jacob Nkate said "the launching of this outgoing council marked a turning point in Botswana's Human Resources Development Strategy".

The minister said in any development process, there were learning curves and challenges in the navigation of uncharted waters. He commended the council for making big strides despite many challenges.
