Night attacker terrorises women

A lone night attacker is said to be terrorising residents of Dilaene Ward in Mahalapye. The young man who seems familiar with his victims appears to target women. He breaks into houses but has not yet stolen or harmed anyone.

One woman, who claimed to have come across the culprit, said she was so shocked that she could not even scream.  The woman, who preferred anonymity, said she was awoken in the middle of the night by the scratch of matches, only to see the man by the window.

After realising he had been noticed the man vanished into the night. Contacted for comment the police could neither confirm nor deny the allegations.
