The Ministry of Education has established a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) to take care of infrastructure at all government schools across the country. The Education Infrastructure and Management Company Ltd (EIMC) is expected to lead the transformation of Botswana's education infrastructure.

According to an introductory press release from the company, EIMC is Botswana's newly established institution responsible for the modernisation, professional management, and long-term sustainability of public-school infrastructure across the country.

“EIMC marks a major milestone in advancing the quality of learning environments nationwide,” the ministry states.
