New nurses union takes off

* Vows to fight for nurses' conditions of service

FRANCISTOWN: For the next four years, Lebogang Fondondo Phillip will be the president of the newly launched Botswana Nurses Union (BONU).

He was elected to the position unopposed at the union's inaugural executive elections held at the Institute of Health Sciences (IHS) here last Friday. The event, an annual general meeting, also saw the birth of BONU from the Nurses Association of Botswana (NAB).
