Nchindo land initially Debswana project

The Block 10 piece of land acquired by Nchindo was initially routed as a Debswana project, the court has learnt.

As the graft case against Garvas Nchindo and former Debswana group secretary, Joseph Matome, continues, it has emerged that government initially believed the Block 10 development was a Debswana project.

Yesterday, Directorate of Public Prosecutions (DPP) produced a letter that was authored by the late former Debswana boss, Louis Nchindo, on February 8 2002 acknowledging government support for the tourism development project Debswana was to undertake.
