Nchindo and company lose yet again

Nchindo and his co-accused yesterday lost yet another High Court battle when Justice Singh Walia of Lobatse High Court ruled in favour of the state.

Just as the ink was about to dry on another High Court battle that Nchindo, his son Garvas, Joseph Matome and Jacob Sesinyi lost, Walia awarded the constitutional application to the state. Nchindo and the state have been at loggerheads over some constitutional matter emanating from the substantive criminal matter at the Gaborone Village Magistrate's Court.

A few weeks back, another High Court Justice Maruping Dibotelo dismissed their application in which they wanted the court to reverse the Gaborone Magistrate Court's decision that the state ought not to provide further particularities in most charges in the criminal matter.
