Nata teacher suffering from PPD goes missing

FRANCISTOWN: The family of a 33-year-old Nata primary school teacher, Beauty Joseph is seeking the public's assistance in finding the woman who disappeared suspiciously on July 16.

The teacher from Themashanga village left and never returned after visiting the restroom. It was reported that this was not the first time she went missing after being diagnosed with post-partum depression (PPD).

A distraught family spokesperson who is also Beauty's brother Kabelo Joseph told Mmegi that they believed that their beloved sister had some sort of misfortune on the day of her disappearance. “People don't simply disappear into thin air, he said, unless something terrible has happened to them. This is not the first time that my younger sister went missing. In the past we managed to locate her within a short period of time after she had gone missing. She went missing a couple of times but we were able to find her within a day or two,” said the worried brother.
