Presidential Affairs and Public Administration Minister, Margaret Nasha has told the leader of the largest trade union, Johnson Motshwarakgole to shut up and stop dabbling in the ruling party's factional wars.

The minister blasted the organising secretary of the National Amalgamated, Government, Parastatal Manual Workers Union following a series of press releases in support of Barata-Phathi faction of the Botswana Democratic Party (BDP).

"Time and again, we read in the newspapers of Motshwarakgole claiming that he is moving around the country encouraging his union members to vote for the Barata-Phathi faction. He should stop it. We know his political affiliation. Motshwarakgole spent years formenting divisions in his union. He should tell us why his union has fallen apart. What does he know about BDP factions? He should leave us alone. We will build our party without his advice," Nasha said.
