* Chief's representative fingered as a cabalist

MOCHUDI:  Bakgatla paramount chief Kgafela Kgafela II has confirmed that his father, the late Kgosi Linchwe II, held weapons for the African National Congress (ANC) when it was fighting to topple the apartheid regime.

The Bakgatla leaders were speaking at a kgotla meeting here in the wake of revelations by former South African president, Thabo Mbeki, who was the guest speaker at a Masire Foundation dinner in Gaborone recently.
