Murderers Seek Mutigation

LOBATSE: The High Court will this morning listen to mitigation factors from two men it found guilty of murdering Robert Ncube and Sam Humbarumbe in Mogoditshane on December 24 2000.

The deceased were Zimbabwean nationals and they were shot and stabbed to death.
Michael Molefhe and Bandon Sampson failed to convince the presiding judge, Justice Maruping Dibotelo, that there were extenuating circumstances in the offence.

However, the defence lawyers, Duma Boko and Ookeditse Maphakwane have vowed to fight to abate the penalty of capital punishment.
