Murder Case Continues To Attract Huge Crowd

FRANCISTOWN: Once again, a crowd packed the magistrate court on Friday to attend a case in which a man is accused of murdering his wife.

When the accused was arraigned before Magistrate Pride Rusike sometimes  last  month, the courtroom was filled to capacity. The crowd was even bigger on Friday, spilling outside the courtroom. Members of the Zion Christian Church are always attend as both the deceased and accused are members of the sect. Usually, the accused does not take long in court, but this has not prevented multitudes from attending the case.

On Friday, state counsel Nomsa Moatswi, requested that the accused be remanded again as investigations are still going on. She said the police have not yet handed the docket to the prosecution.
