Murder accused earns family's wrath

KANYE: The family of a woman who perished in an inferno openly expressed their anger and frustration at the suspect when he appeared in court yesterday.

Dissenting voices from the family could be heard in court when the lawyer representing secondary school teacher, Gaone Molwalefe opposed an application by the state to have his client's bail revoked. Members of the family were visibly disgusted at the sight of Molwalefe,  his associates and family.

Defence attorney, Kole Kole vehemently opposed the attempt to revoke bail and after the court session elderly women from the family of the deceased cursed and wished Molwalefe and his supporters bad things."Le mo moletlong re a lo bona. Mme fela modimo o tlaa nna le lona. Motlha mongwe mongwe go tlaa bo go itumetse rona," said one elderly woman who was visibly angry at the fact that Molwalefe is enjoying his freedom despite the death.
